The itinerary outlined is for a 7-day trip to Nepal organized by Endless Energy. The trip is designed to provide a unique experience to those interested in sustainable energy solutions, cultural immersion, and a reflective journey. Here is a more detailed description of the itinerary:
Upon arrival at the Kathmandu airport, Endless Energy staff will receive and transfer you to the hotel in Thamel, a popular tourist hub in Kathmandu. You will have the rest of the day to rest and wait for the rest of the group to arrive
After breakfast, the group will visit the Swayambhunath, a famous Buddhist temple in Kathmandu.Participants will be accompanied by heritage tour guide and conservationist and share significance about the civilisation of kathmandu valley and many more. Later, you will head to the domestic airport for a flight to Pokhara. If the weather is unfavorable, the group will travel by road, which takes around 6-8 hours. In the evening, there will be a team orientation with all Nepalese crew working for Endless Energy in Nepal.
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will drive 3 hours to a small town called Beni. From there, they will drive off-road for 3 hours in a 4x4 wheel drive to reach the village where they will stay in a homestay.Also, the welcome ceremony will begin and endless staff will give orientation about the Health post,its status and need of stable power supply for reliable health service.
This day is dedicated to installing the solar panels to provide reliable electricity to the local health post. The group will work in teams to make progress throughout the day. In the evening, an endless staff will be present to help communicate with the local people about local culture and lifestyles. There will also be a short reflection about the day.
After an early morning hike to see the Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges, the group will have breakfast and continue with the installation process. In the evening, there will be a lighting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the project. Endless Energy staff will help communicate with the local people about local culture and lifestyles, and there will be an opportunity for cultural exchange.
The group will drive for 6 hours back to Pokhara, then fly back to Kathmandu. In the evening, there will be a final dinner together to celebrate the journey and share experiences.
